We like the idea of more people on bicycles. It's the reality that's irritating. At least in our community, cyclists have established some new rules of the road: * Stop signs (and stop lights) are for suckers. By suckers, we mean cars.
* Bike lanes designed for single-file riding are best navigated five abreast so we can talk better on our ride.
* When bike lanes are absent, sidewalks make nice substitutes. Pedestrians should stick to the curb.
* Overweight guys biking to work should wear form-fitting jerseys .
