And a neighborhood association shall rule them

If it weren't for our neighborhood association, we wouldn't all have the same mailbox.

We wouldn't have elderly neighbors deciding if we can install a light over the driveway basketball hoop.

And nosy ladies peeking out their windows would be considered reprehensible busy-bodies instead of Architectural Control Committee Officials enforcing bylaws regulating "length of lawn" and "association-approved shutter color."

Sometimes, that college apartment we shared with four other guys sounds pretty good.
