Death takes a holiday

The folks at Pinelawn Memorial Park (that's a graveyard, kids) sent us a great offer recently, reminding us it's never too early to "face it now" -- because who can write a check from the grave?

Deluxe cremation urns are available for $45,400.  For those who prefer to decompose in the ground, there are service fees, interment fees, casket fees, memorials, trees of remembrance, and butterfly releases.

The Death Industry probably makes a lot of families feel better about their lost loved one.

We'd prefer our kids throw our ashes into the compost heap, then take the money and go to Hawaii for a few weeks.
