Poor Dave Ramsey, he seems like a decent enough guy on his radio show, which "focuses on life, love and relationships, and how they happen to revolve around money."
But we pity him having to listen to the sad sacks that call in night after night, incredulous about how they could possibly be in such dire financial straits.
Some of them have legitimate explanations: they had to care for sick relatives or fell victim to hospital stays that insurance didn't cover.
But not most of them, from what we can tell, just have houses that are too big, trucks they can't pay for and call up Dave pleading to be saved.
